Pregnancy, Babies and Children
Back pain during pregnancy is very common as the ligaments relax and the baby grows. Osteopathic treatment is of enormous help in this area. We are very experienced in dealing with the particular problems unique to the pre and postnatal period.
Babies have soft heads which are designed to adapt to the strong forces involved in the process of birth. The head changes shape during the process and normalises soon after birth.
Sometimes however, the forces are too great, and the baby's head may remain distorted or flattened.
