I am a registered osteopath and hold a first class honours degree in osteopathy. A member of the General Osteopathic Council and Back Care Association, I am also a director of the Carl Todd Clinic and practise from our Corsham clinic. I use mainly structural techniques in my practice, which involves manipulation and mobilisation, but I also use interferential electrotherapy, ultrasound and medical acupuncture along with rehabilitation exercises as part of my treatment programmes. My aim with patients is to help relieve pain and then give individual guidance into finding a long-term solution for preventing future problems. I am also a fully qualified sports therapist and Pilates instructor, and manage the Pilates and rehabilitation programmes that run at both the Corsham and Swindon clinics. After spending several years treating dancers in various places, including The Moulin Rouge in Paris, I believe that in order to keep the body functioning at its best then good joint mobility, muscle flexibility and strength (along with a healthy mind and diet) are key to living a pain free lifestyle.
