Michael started studying therapeutic bodywork techniques in Australia and New Zealand in 1995. He has an honours degree in osteopathy, and a diploma in health studies from McTimoney College of Chiropractic.
Since qualifying as an osteopath in 2008, Michael has completed postgraduate training in cranial osteopathy and western medical acupuncture. With further qualifications in shiatsu and zero balancing, Michael can use a wide range of techniques incorporating both Eastern and Western approaches to health and healing.
Michael has particular interests in trauma and related injury, and in CFS/ME having worked at a national charity for a number of years. He is actively involved in health research.
Michael is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association, British Medical Acupuncture Society, Shiatsu Society and the Zero Balancing Association.
