One week after injury, the treatment also incorporates gentle stretching and exercises. If necessary, the patient is advised to do some exercises at home. When the swelling and pain subside, a more vigorous exercise program is developed tailor-made to the need of the patient.

The aim is to establish normal movement in all joints, organs and soft tissues of the body to enhance health and physiological growth in babies and children.
Treatment can address physical aches and pains, acute and chronic disease or simply helps to improve health and well-being. Cranial Osteopathy is so gentle that it is suitable for babies, children and the elderly as well as adults and people in fragile or acutely painful conditions.
The practitioner will make contact by placing her hands lightly on the body of the patient and tuning in to what is happening by ‘listening’ with her hands. Using very subtle and gentle techniques, the accumulated stresses and strains in the body are gradually released. The aim is to relieve the current symptoms and to improve the underlying health of the tissues.
