Island Health is a small clinic offering various treatments to aid a range of ailments.

There are two tastefully decorate roms, (osteopathic and therapeutic) a comfortable waiting room and off street parking to the side of the building.

Therapeutic Room

Is a large light and airy room, decorated Medieval Style overlooking a large garden featuring bantams and ducks, thus creating a tranquil ambience to aid relaxtion.

Osteopathic Room

Is situated at the front of the property and is beautifully presented with an open fire place.

Kevin Sean Mclean

Is a qualified and registered Osteopath. He has honours degree and studied for 5 years at the London School of Osteopathy.

Natalie Mclean

Is Itec qualified in the art of Massage, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage. Qualified over a two year period and has been practicing for 6 years. Itec is a recognisable qualification by the N.H.S.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy has a "whole body" approach to restoring and maintaining a persons health. In common and Reflexology, the Osteopath seeks to resolve disturbances in the balance of neuromusculo-skeletal system. Such changes can reduce mobility, impair blood supply and disturb system function.

Physical strain or injury, postural and lifestyle stress (including emotional) can all produce such physical disturbances.

Initially a full case history of the patient is taken with past medical history, trauma, occupation and postural factors assessed.

A detailed physical and functional examination is undertaken so that a working diagnosis can be made.

For Osteopathy the first consultation takes 45 minutes.

All subsequent treatments take 30 minutes.

Therapeuctic Body Massage

Promotes general well-being, reduces anxiety and stress levels, while boosting circulation, digestion and the immune system. Helps to relax and ease tense and tired muscles by eliminating toxins from the body - Deeply relaxing.

Aromatherapy

Incorporating the use of essential oils to maintain good health. Massaged evenly over the skin, helping to release and drain toxins from tissues. The senses of touch and smell are combined to give balance and healing to both physical and emotional aspects.

Half Body Massage

Neck, Shoulders and Back. More intense massage to ease out and relieve muscle tension that has built up causing areas to become sore and painful, reducing range of movements.30mins

We also specialise in Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Percussion Massage.

Island Health E14 is situated opposite Crossharbour DLR Station on East Ferry Road.

The clinic has its own car park at the approach to the Asda superstore car park.
